For many years I have purchased many sizes and styles of handbags.  My daughter has heard me complain of NEVER being able to find things in my messy handbag.  Everything would fall to the bottom of the bag and I would scramble to find what I needed.  I enjoy changing from one handbag to another but sometimes do not have time or want to deal with the hassle.

So, January 2008 I decided to design an organizer for my handbags.  I drew the design on paper and cut the first pattern from an old white sheet.  Then it was time to get out my 20 year old sewing machine to sew the outer pattern of the bag to see if it was going to be the right size.  It took a lot of thought of how to make the pockets on the inside fit all my needs.  I wanted to be able to have all my items at a hands reach in my handbag instead of everything being a mess at the bottom of it.

I wanted the organizer to have a specific place for sunglasses because I would always throw them in my bag and they would get scratched therefore, I designed a protective detachable accessory holder for easy access.  It holds and protects sunglasses or can be used for other items.  A chain strap was added to the organizer so it could be carried as a handbag.  I wanted my design to be unique, different and have many functions that other handbag organizers do not.

My old machine was not made for vinyl fabrics so after breaking many needles and spending countless hours sewing, I made the 11th bag.  This was it!  I continued day after day making 20 organizer bags to give as samples for family and friends.  I thought other women could benefit from the organizer because there are so many different kinds of bags in which the organizer would work.   Jameli is the name of the All in One Organizer/Handbag, by D’Jalor™ (patent pending).

The Jameli is the first product in our D’Jalor™ line.  We will be expanding into different venues with new and innovative items in the near future.  I hope you find the Jameli, All in One Organizer/Handbag as useful as others.
